Are you a talented Design Engineer with expertise in CATIA? We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects in a collaborative environment.

Job Requirements

• Comprehend customer needs and formulate ideas utilizing established design principles.
• Collaborate with various teams, including functional owners and internal or external manufacturing teams, to fulfill design requirements.
• Generate 3D models and 2D drawings for sheet metal components and assemblies using CATIA V6.
• Create a bill of materials and perform other PLM activities to initiate the workflow.
• Conduct DFMEA and DRA to improve the design.

Work Experience

• Mechanical engineer with 3-8 years of experience in CATIA (Must) and Windchill (Good to have).
• Wind turbine domain experience is a plus.
• Expertise in 3D modeling, sheet metal design, assembly, drawing creation, and BOM is essential.
• Experience in material and component selection as per industrial standards (DIN, IEC, etc.) and EHS requirements is an advantage.
• Experience in welding, large assembly, and fasteners is essential.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, with exposure to maintenance and service requirements, is an added advantage.
• Working experience with multi-cultural teams, especially in Europe and India, is a plus.
