Key Responsibilities
- Assist in merchandise assortment planning for all stores.
- Create appropriate buying plans for assigned categories based on sales targets.
- Set ARP targets for product categories.
- Create option plans and conduct depth analysis.
- Formulate stock to sale plans for a season (EOM/BOM).
- OTB calculation.
- Provide inputs for monthly target setting in each category.
- Break down monthly targets into product categories.
- Track target vs. achievement.
- Prepare merchandise plan reports.
- Analyze product performance (Lk2Lk).
- Track inventory management processes.
- Ensure ideal stock cover for each product category is maintained.
- Manage dormancy and pullback within specified norms.
- Generate sell-through reports on Excel for Week 1 and Week 2 sales.
- Prepare photo sell-through reports.
- Act as a custodian in formulating stock & sale plans.
- Create product category-wise dispatch plans.
- Track planned vs. actual allocation plans for each store.
- Analyze allocation vs. actual dispatches.
- Conduct market intelligence activities.
- Monitor new launches (competition products/window/schemes).
- Perform competition mapping.
- Provide training on merchandise, product, and VM related topics.
- Track core business contributions.
- Enhance category contribution % of total business on an LTL basis.
- Identify new designs to be added to this category.
- Assist in creating a retail design brief.
- Design an option grid and learn from past season performance.
- Plan for a successful Integrated Go-To-Market (IGTM) story alongside VM and design teams.
- Dress up one key store for the look and roll out across stores.
- Integrate space planning efforts.
- Work closely with retail planners to monitor returns from allocated space.
